African LeopardsThe African Leopards are the official team of the Confederation of African Rugby, and are designed to represent the pinnacle of achievement for players from across the continent, outside South Africa.

The team played their inaugural match against SA Students at Ellis Park, Johannesburg, in July 2005, and will play their first match overseas, against the British Army Senior XV at Aldershot in November 23, 2006 - KO 1900 hrs.

The 2006 Leopards will include international players from Morocco, Tunisia, Kenya, Uganda, Senegal, Tanzania, Cameroon and South Africa.

The match against the Senior XV will be televised, and a 24' highlights package will be broadcast on public broadcasters in 34 African countries, to an audience in excess of 16 million people.
