The rapidly expanding ARU Coaching department is recruiting volunteers now for the post of Area Training Co-ordinator. The successful applicant will be responsible for co-ordinating local coaching courses, development seminars, and be the focal point for all Rugby coaching activities within their region.

Regional, Garrison based rugby development will see the implementation of SAQ courses, game play and technical workshops, nutritional workshops, discounted sports nutrition products, and professional instruction in getting the best out of your scrummage machine. As the regional focus you will be directly responsible for liaison with your RFU Regional Development Manager and his team of development officers. Accessing their network of courses and coach education seminars.

You will also become involved in the growing links between the ARU and the Premiership rugby clubs, as the local link between the ARU and your local Premiership club. Working alongside the Academy and Community coaches, you will also link with the regional Rugby focus within Recruiting Group to augment your operation. You will work under the direction of the Coach Development Manager and the Coach Education Co-ordinator.

All Area Training Co-ordinators will receive branded ARU clothing, a stock of Rugby Training equipment, preferential loading onto all RFU/ARU/SAQ courses, and assistance in gaining professional qualifications. It is from our pool of volunteers that the next Coaching Co-ordinator or CoachDevelopment Manager will come from. Access to ARU events, corporate hospitality at Premiership and Twickenham matches, and training which not only has relevance to rugby, but translates into both the military, and civilian employment world.......
