After the exhibition match played at the Middlesex Sevens (12 Aug 06) 5 members of the Army Sevens team had all reached the milestone of 5 representative tournaments and so were presented with their Army Sevens caps. Those honoured with colours were:

    LCpl Swann - 23 Pnr Regt RLC
    LCpl Vuadreu - 9 Sup Regt RLC
    LCpl Tawayaga - 3 Scots
    LCpl Vakasawaka - HQ 39 Bde NI

It was a particularly special moment as the caps were presented by Ian McGeechan, ex-British Lions player and coach and Wasp Director of Rugby and reaffirmed the Army's continuing relationship with the London Wasps.
