60 Years on from the famous Kiwi tour of 1945/46 the New Zealand Army are once again touring these shores, they arrive in the UK in mid April and the tour party will include both men’s and women’s teams, there will also be several of the 1945 Kiwis again on tour. For more details on that historic tour click here.
The match itinery for the 2005 tour is somewhat shorter than 1945/46 when they played a total of 33 games including matches against France and Scotland.
Army Senior XV’s (men & women) clash with the tourists in Aldershot on 28 April. The teams see these matches as a stern test and although they expect no quarter from the New Zealanders none will be given in return.
The tour promises to provide some hard, fast and exciting rugby, spectators are welcome for all matches so come along and show your support for the men and women in red!
