ARU CENTENARY 2006
This is an appeal to ARU Members past and present

The ARU Secretariat is currently collecting and collating memorabilia to mark our 100th Anniversary in 2006.

It is our aim to have an Army team photograph for each of our 100 years. We are interested in any items from 1907-1991.

Leicestershire Regiment v 1st Welch Regiment - Army Cup 1908

On the 31st December 1906 that the Army Council approved the formation of the Army Rugby Union. Almost eight months later, on 10 August 1907, Field Marshal the Duke of Connaught consented to be the Union's President but it was not until 16 June 1908 that the Army Rugby Union Committee first convened.
