Old friends meet...

A remarkable re-unification of three school friends occurred during a recent Army Rugby Union Academy fixture.

Henry Laäs, Adrian Stander and Johan Wessels last saw each other at their Secondary school in Pretoria, South Africa. They were all in the School 1St XV and after the final summer term dispersed back to their respective homes not expecting to see each other again. They all independently joined the British Army and were unaware of each others locations. It took a good four hours for the lads to get re-acquainted.

Unfortunately Henry and Justin failed to make the cut for the U21 fixture versus the Royal Navy on 27 Nov and therefore had to fly back to Germany. They will next meet when the Academy U20's meet up in preparation for the counties championship.
