| Unit Rugby Officers have an important role to play in Community
Rugby and therefore should be familiar with:
- ARU
Policy - Covering policies on: Membership, Health and Safety,
Overseas Touring, Combined Service Selection, Player's Charter,
ARU Policy on Cross-Code Activity.
- Affiliation
and Insurance - Obtaining ARU/RFU affiliation and Insurance
to enable your team to play and enter competitions held by the
ARU.
- Coaching
training - Coaching courses.
- Competitions
- A list of the competitions and their associated rules.
- Competitions
fixtures - The structure fixture list for all ARU competitions.
- Book a Ref - Procedures for booking a referee.
- Discipline
- Discipline procedures.
- Health
& Safety - Game Health & Safety requirements and Risk
Assessments.
- RFU
Notices - Notices issued by the RFU which have a direct bearing
on the playing of rugby union in the Army.
- Touring
Instructions - Instructions on how to apply for permission
to take a team touring.
- Travel
Expenses - Travel expense entitlements and claiming procedures.
